Just watched "The Pianist"... Read the book too.. It shows a gist of a Jewish pianist's (Wladyslaw Szpilman) fate during the Holocaust...

The whole show took around 2 hours plus but it was worth watching! Cos it resembles closely what actually happened during the war... The scenes are acted out according to the book which was what Wladyslaw had witnessed and experienced.. Some gruesome scenes were not shown though.. So reading a book is more interesting as you are the one 'directing' the entire movie...

Currently reading 'the great escape'.. Eh.. Quite detailed with a lot of characters involved.. Kinda lost sometimes... But the gist of it is how the POWs escaped the concentration camps by digging underground tunnels... See, when we are desperate enough.. Nothing can stop us from reaching our goal.. Even death. Horrr...

Having the "great leap forward" (long jump) tmr! I wonder how will I perform having lived a sedentary lifestyle for monthsss already..

err.. Very history horr.. hahaha..
